35. Visualization must, of course, be directed by the will; we are to visualize exactly what we want; we
must be careful not to let the imagination run riot. Imagination is a good servant but a poor master, and
unless it is controlled it may easily lead us into all kinds of speculations and conclusions which have no
basis or foundation of fact whatever. Every kind of plausible opinion is liable to be accepted without any
analytical examination and the inevitable result is mental chaos.

I find now when my imagination begins to run wild, I am now more of an observer, so I catch myself. I stop take in a few deep breaths and choose what I really want to think. I find it interesting to observe others who are in the throws of letting their imagination run wild. I then give thanks that I am observing and have a choice as to how I want to respond, not react.

This week is encouraging in knowing that we have the ability to change anything we want by changing our thoughts.
“16. All things have their origin in mind, and appearances are the result of thought. So that we see that
things in themselves have no origin, permanency, or reality. Since they are produced by thought, they can be erased by thought.”
So reading the above, I know that if I choose, I can in essence erase anything I want and create anything I want. It sounds simple enough. I see how we really must be the caretaker of our thoughts and be aware of our most dominant thoughts as they are creating exactly what we are thinking.
Again I get excited when I catch myself, as the observer, thinking thoughts that are not conducive to my real desires, because that is when I can erase them and choose the thoughts I really want. I also understand that just like a plant, if you cut the roots, it takes time for the plant to shrivel up and die. So too does it take time diligence and persistence to cut off the thoughts that are not what we really want.

“17. It is with words that we must express our thoughts, and if we are to make use of higher forms of

truth, we may use only such material as has been carefully and intelligently selected with this purpose in

view.

18. This wonderful power of clothing thoughts in the form of words is what differentiates man from the

rest of the animal kingdom; by the use of the written word he has been enabled to look back over the

centuries and see the stirring scenes by which he has come into his present inheritance.

19. He has been enabled to come into communion with the greatest writers and thinkers of all time, and

the combined record which we possess today is therefore the expression of Universal Thought as it has

been seeking to take form in the mind of Man.”

I have heard Mark say, “We can see the world as perfect for its present state of development, or we can see it as going to hell in a hand basket”

In reading this week the above, it solidifies my belief that the world is perfect for its present state of development. That brings back to the frontal lobe the importance of being conscious of our thoughts and deciding what we truly want to think. To again be the gate keeper, observer, of the seeds we are planting and giving life too. Life is unfolding beautifully before us in exact accordance to what we are really thinking and giving energy too.

I have heard it said many times in the past. How can I give? If I have nothing to give?

This popped out at me this week, Giving is mental process.

“13:22 we will get exactly what we give, but we shall have to give it first. It will then return to us many fold, and the giving is simply a mental process, because thoughts are causes and conditions are effects; therefore in giving thoughts of courage, inspiration, health or help of any kind we are setting causes in motion which will bring about their effect.”

Makes me really understand how important it is to not wish bad or evil on anyone or anything. The mental diet takes on a whole new level of importance.

We can all give and give freely. Give with out expecting anything in return. Everything we are doing in the MKMMA is building strength to be the best “Self-Directed Thinkers” We can be.

“25. In creating a Mental Image or an Ideal, we are projecting a thought into the Universal Substance from which all things are created.”

We are giving, as thought is cause and conditions are the effect. We all have what is necessary to give.

Sometimes when I am reading the lessons, things just pop out at me and become clearer and clearer as to what and why I am continuing to, grow and learn.

“23. Man is so constituted that he must first create the tools, or implements by which he gains the power to think. The mind cannot comprehend an entirely new idea until a corresponding vibratory brain cell has been prepared to receive it. This explains why it is so difficult for us to receive or appreciate an entirely new idea; we have no brain cell capable of receiving it; we are therefore incredulous; we do not believe it.”

When I read the above paragraph, it hit me clear as can be. This course and all the exercises we are doing in the MKMMA is facilitating us to prepare our minds to be able to comprehend and thus accept the new ideas, “truth” that are being presented to us in the reading and studying. If we were not prepared or as it says above. We have to prepare the brain cells to receive it. If not we reject it and keep on living under the cement, doing the same old things that have not worked. It has also helped prepare us to truly answer the call and go all in.

“We frequently hear it said, “A very distressing situation came into my life, which could not have been the result of my thought, as I certainly never entertained any thought which could have such a result.” We fail to remember that like attracts like in the mental world, and that the thought which we entertain brings to us certain friendships, companionships of a particular kind, and these in turn bring about conditions and environment, which in turn are responsible for the conditions of which we complain.”

So these last couple of weeks have been, lets say very interesting. When I read this, this week, it really hit me how critical it is to be the watchman at the gate, the observer of my thoughts. What am I talking about? I have to come to find out that a person I have been associated with for the last couple years, turns out to not really be the person he portrayed himself to be, and what we have been working on has come to an end. I should be clearer what we had going with him has come to an end. I could allow my thinking to take the path of victim, or how could he do that or ????. Now thanks to what I know and have learned so far, especially with this course, I choose to see the good, look for the good, and only focus on the good of what has happened for the last 2 years. I am really examining what my real thoughts have been, how did I attract that into my life. I wish for him the best and desire only good for him.

Then the phone rings and opens a door to what the vision has been all along for the last 2 years, only this time it is clearer, bigger and more amazing than what I had seen. What happened was a stepping stone on the path to where I am at today. I fact in retrospect if that had not happened the door that just opened could not have happened. Life is exciting.

Reading this week in lesson 9:

23.” Now, I know you want the formula, and I will give it to you as briefly and quickly as I can.

24. I built up an affirmation for myself, taking the qualities I most needed, and affirming for myself

over and over again, “I am whole, perfect, strong, powerful, loving, harmonious and happy.” I kept up this affirmation, always the same, never varying, till I could wake up in the night and find myself repeating, “I am whole, perfect, strong, powerful, loving, harmonious and happy.” It was the last thing on my lips at night and the first thing in the morning.

25. Not only did I affirm it for myself, but for others that I knew needed it. I want to emphasize this

point. Whatever you desire for yourself, affirm it for others, and it will help you both. We reap what we sow. If we send out thoughts of love and health, they return to us like bread cast upon the waters; but if we send out thoughts of fear, worry, jealousy, anger, hate, etc., we will reap the results in our own lives.”

I had a flash, So it hit me, make up another service card, in the same fashion we make all the other cards. This one says, I promise to: Affirm for ___________ (fill in the name of someone else) Daily, You are Whole, You are perfect, you are powerful, you are loving, you are harmonious, you are happy, (I add) you are healthy, you are wealthy.

3 people that are special to me, graduated this week and went on to the next adventure. The company I have been working with for 2 years and built up a significant income with, closed its doors this week. Because I know there is something good about everything. My first thoughts were, wow not sure what all this means other than there has to be something better or something else I was meant to be doing. Guess what a phone call came in yesterday afternoon and I am leaving tonight to go see what sounds like something even more amazing than what I was doing. It is all good, I am whole, I am perfect, I am Strong, I am powerful, I am loving, I am harmonious, I am Happy, I am Healthy, I am wealthy

Reading this week has really brought me to a more conscious understanding of how massively important our thoughts and deciding how we want to respond or think about anything really is.

“The personal, or conscious, has the power of will and choice, and can therefore exercise discrimination in the selection of methods whereby to bring about the solution of difficulties.”

We really can choose as to how we will feel and think about anything, no matter what the appearance of it seems to be.

24. What, then, is the correct principle? Concentrate on the things you want, not on the things you do not want. Think of abundance; idealize the methods and plans for putting the Law of Abundance into operation. Visualize the condition which the Law of Abundance creates; this will result in manifestation.

25. If the law operates perfectly to bring about poverty, lack and every form of limitation for those who are continually entertaining thoughts of lack and fear, it will operate with the same certainty to bring about conditions of abundance and opulence for those who entertain thoughts of courage and power.

As I think back of the events and circumstances in my life, I find they were exactly as I was thinking, no matter if it was conscious thought and I was aware of it or it was the old blueprint, just blindly doing what I do.

This is very liberating, being consciously aware that it really is my choice as to how I want to think or feel about anything that happens.

This week making the connections between the shapes, colors, PPN’s and DMP has been happening more and more. I am excited that I recognize and am aware when it happens. The last couple weeks, if I happen to wake up at night, I find myself thinking about what I have written down on the cards. One time I woke up reciting the BPB. It is a good way to fall back to sleep, thinking about what I want.

The exercise this week looking at a picture and then closing your eyes and seeing all the detail, has been the best I have ever been able to do that. I have been very pleased with the detail that I am able to see with my eyes closed. Getting more detail each time, I practice the exercise.

All of this starts to fit together and reading the lesson this week really helps me see how important each and everything we are doing is. How it all fits together.

15. Every thought sets the brain cells in action; at first the substance upon which the thought is

directed fails to respond, but if the thought is sufficiently refined and concentrated, the

substance finally yields and expresses perfectly.
